Exodus
I believe I am a season 1 purist and will always like that season, finale included, the most. It was new and fresh and there was so much promise and potential. The pictures I used to represent the finale are what I automatically think of when I think of Exodus, not necessarily my favorite moments. My favorite moments would be as follows.
Charlie bringing Aaron back to Claire.
Sawyer telling Jack about meeting Christian.
Introduction of the Black Rock and Arzt blowing up.
The launch of the raft, including when it first breaks, and especially when Vincent tries to swim out.
The montage at the end of everyone getting on the plane.
The Incident
In this case, the pictures match up with my favorite parts. The season 5 finale has an advantage to coming in second place. There is no season 6 yet and it is the freshest in my memory. It will be interesting to see how well it stands up when all is said and done. I’d also like to point out that only season 1 and 5 have ended on Island, the other seasons have all ended off Island.

Live Together, Die Alone
Check out the visual theme carried over from the season 1 finale into the season 2 finale. Our losties looking into a hole. TPTB are not only brilliant with their use of recurring phrases, but also quite effectively use recurring pictoral themes to help tie their story together. Again, my pictures don’t reflect my favorite moments, but for various reasons, remind me of the finale. My favorite moments in the season 2 finale are as follows.
The reveal that Ben is important in the hierarchy of the Others.
Desmond’s backstory, which really covers a lot of the story.
Desmond turning the failsafe key, and the sky turning purple.
There's No Place Like Home
It was the only finale that officially had 3 parts, thus the 3 picture shout out. This would be my least favorite finale for the same reason the season was my least favorite season; too much of the O6, not enough on Island action and the people left behind. The thing that bothers me the most about it, was in season 3 when the first 6 episodes where basically Jack, Kate and Sawyer, everyone complained. TPTB said they realized it was a mistake and wouldn’t separate the Losties so much again. Then they went ahead and did it anyway, the very next season. Ah, well, my favorite moments include the following.

Ben’s “How many times do I have to tell you, John? I always have a plan.”
Ben getting revenge on Keamy.
Hurley’s surprise party.

Desmond and Penny reunion.
